Rotary clubs are encouraged to send AT LEAST 2 candidates to the Rotary Leadership Institue each year. Such training improves club leadership and increases enthusiasm and drive, all necessitites to a strong, active club. So, if you're club hasn't sent any candidates this year, hurry up! The institute is intended for those members who are a few years away from taking up a leadership position in the club and are a great way to get future leaders on-track, energetic, and involved.
The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is organized by Zone.
The main website for RLI is at http://www.rotaryleadershipinstitute.org/
For those in my home Virginia Zone, the Zone RLI website is at http://www.rli33.org/
See for yourself -- the latest Zone 33 RLI newsletter is available -- and encourage your club to be involved today.
